Privacy, in plain words
Short version: our tools and games run in your browser and nothing you type is sent to us. If you accept cookies, Google Analytics helps us see how many people visit and which tools and games they use. You can change your choice any time.
What stays on your device
- Tool inputs. The Discount Damage Calculator, Deal Odds Checker and Cold Email Grader run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to SellSip or anyone else.
- Shareable links. When you copy a tool link, the link holds only your numbers or scores so the result can be reopened. The Cold Email Grader never puts your email text in the link.
- Receipt images. Receipt PNGs are drawn in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
- Preferences and scores. We store your day/night choice, your cookie choice and your best game scores in your browser's local storage. You can clear them at any time by clearing site data.
What we collect, and only if you say yes
We use Google Analytics 4, a service from Google, to understand how SellSip is used. If you accept analytics cookies, it sends Google:
- Visit information: the pages you view, how you arrived (for example a search or a link), and your device, browser and approximate location (country or city, worked out by Google from your IP address; Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses).
- A few anonymous events: that a tool calculated a result (and which tool), that a game was started or finished (with the score band), and that a share button was used. Never what you type into a tool, your email text, your numbers or your deal names.
We use this only to see which pages, tools and games are useful and to improve them. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell data. Google processes it under its own privacy policy and explains how it uses data from sites that use its services.
Cookies and your choice
On your first visit we ask with a small banner: Accept or Reject. Both buttons are equal, and every tool and game works the same either way.
- Until you choose, and if you reject: no analytics cookies are set. We use Google's Consent Mode, so the Google tag can only send Google a basic, cookieless signal that a page was viewed (no identifier, nothing that links one visit to the next). Advertising signals are always off.
- If you accept: Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies on sellsip.com. Only analytics storage is switched on; advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation stay off, because we do not run ads.

Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage (sellsip-consent), so we don't ask on every page. It is not a cookie and is never sent to us.
Changing your mind: click Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to reopen the banner and pick again. If you switch to Reject, we delete the _ga cookies straight away. You can also clear site data in your browser (we will ask again next visit), block cookies, use a content blocker, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
The Sip newsletter
The Sip sign-up is not live yet. The form on the home page is a preview and does not send or store your email. When it opens, this page will say which service we use and how to unsubscribe.
